Work description
Research Group: Materials for Hydrogen TechnologiesResearch Center: Centre for Advanced Materials ResearchSynthesize and test the performance of developed catalysts for hydrogen production from seawater. 1. Synthesis of bi- and trimetallic nanoparticles.2. Electrochemical deposition of the synthesized nanoparticles onto different substrates3. Comprehensive characterization of the nanoparticleas and the fabricated electrodes, including XPS, SEM, etc.4. Study the electrochemical properties of the prepared electrodes to assess their performance in water electrolysis, with the focuses on production of green hydrogen for seawater5. Conduct post-mortem analysis to study the stability and possible degradation of the synthesized catalysts, ensuring insights into long-term performance. The candidate will work with well trained and experienced team.
