I am writing to express my appreciation for the ambitious project to transform the esplanade of Bab Lamrissa in Salé. The initiative to revitalize this underutilized public space is commendable, and the thoughtful redesign appears promising in contributing to the overall well-being of the community.
While reviewing the project details, I was particularly enthusiastic about the inclusion of diverse activity spaces, such as play areas for children and accessible sports equipment. The emphasis on creating a pedestrian-friendly environment is a step in the right direction. However, I would like to highlight an aspect that I believe could further enhance the project's success – the connection between the sports area and the piazza.
In order to strengthen this connection, consider the following suggestions:
Strategic Placement: Ensure that the sports facilities, including outdoor fitness stations and multipurpose courts, are strategically placed in proximity to the piazza. This will encourage a seamless transition between recreational activities and community gatherings.
Shared Aesthetic Elements: Establish a cohesive visual identity between the sports area and the piazza. Consistent design elements, such as color schemes or landscaping features, can create a harmonious atmosphere that ties both spaces together.
