Project idea

The idea of the project was the main focus over the temple and the auditorium hall, Ambedkar bhavan. I have added few more proposals in the two focused spots to adapt the unused space and make it beneficial for the users.

Project description

1st proposal - Pavillion
In the temple premises I have added a pavillion with seatings between the entrance and the exit of the temple for the visitors, senior citizens can rest or wait during rush hours.

2nd proposal - Meditation Room
Behind the temple is an empty slot which I used to build a meditation room what helps the students and visitors accross the area to come relax and meditate.

3rd proposal - Kiosk
I have added a small kiosk on the footpaths of the temple as a refreshment spot. As the visitors pass by they can take a break and have a small snack or drink

4th proposal - Seating and stall
In the big space next to Ambedkar bhavan is an parking area which I have shifted into the basement of the building and used the top surface as a landscape with stepped seating for any open events with small stalls for snacks

Technical information

1) The meditation room is nature friendly made of bamboo and glass allowing natural light to penetrate
